I’ve decided to take up birding as a new hobby. However, I’ve been hesitant to actually “confirm” the birds I spot around my neighborhood. But yesterday, I finally made the leap and identified my first bird.
Although it’s a common species and relatively easy to identify, this is a House Sparrow, and I’ve logged him into eBird.
